This is a flight simulator which uses a slightly modified version of the RealSpace engine from Strike Commander. You play a World War 2 pilot and get to fly in various historic missions such as dogfights, bombing runs and missile attacks, many of which are based on real battles. The US and Japanese planes of the time, and their weapons, are brought to life.
One thing that makes Pacific Strike unique is that rather than a simple retelling of historical battles, the course of World War II is affected by the player. Failing to destroy particular targets will ensure that they remain problems in future missions, and doing extremely well will allow the allies to be more successful. Thus regardless of the actual course of the war, events unfold. For this reason it's possible to can end the war prematurely before Hiroshima was bombed or end up in a situation where American forces surrender to the Japanese.

PROBLEM: Stuck in a loop
Thank you! After over 4 months of being stuck in a loop and having phoned, emailed, and written here, IA has finally corrected the problem. I DO understand there are more pressing problems than providing games for free that actually work.
I request, nonetheless, that you give some basic, simple, and essential info - such as the Instructions on this game. It is surely not on the top of Your list but Is on mine and cannot be too difficult for IA to provide. I've figured out a good many of the commands but those that remain unsolved would certainly help with the enjoyment of this game, as they would for ALL other games. I don't think that's asking too much, considering I liken you to the ancient Library of Alexandria! You might regard it as an offering of books that are in a language no one reads - yet people yearn to understand them in an attempt to decipher those words without a Rosetta Stone.
Thank you for all that you provide for people; from music to games to movies to e-books, etc.! Were I not crippled and hence limited in my funds, I would donate more than the max allowed for politicians, lol! The instructions would be a great assist and asset given that those on the web don't match what you have provided us as far as game-play. Some you do, most you don't, and that's what I don't understand.
I'm a faithful follower who has spread the word about what great people you are and your terrific mission. Keep up the phenomenal job! It is very much appreciated by me and every person I've shared the news with about your site.
